Real French
the language as it is actually spoken understood and lived
Testimonial from Camelia Bogdan received on October 2, 2026
Real French, the language as it is actually spoken, understood and lived.
What makes Dialogue exceptional is that its approach is genuinely tailored to each participant’s individual needs, objectives and personality.
French stops being a foreign language and becomes a natural medium of thought.

I attended Dialogue’s linguistic immersion courses in Spa in 2012 and 2013, with a very specific ambition: to strengthen my French so that I could develop as an international expert in anti-money laundering and asset recovery.
What followed exceeded my expectations. I passed the DELF examination and, in 2014, enrolled in the CEIFAC programme — the College of European Financial Investigations — which enabled me to obtain a Diplôme Universitaire in France during my postdoctoral Diplôme d’Excellence, supported by the French Government. In 2015, I continued my professional development at ENA through a CISAP specialization.
Years later, another French Government scholarship of excellence marked the beginning of a new chapter in my career, allowing me to focus on fostering transparency in the field of energy arbitration. In 2026, that journey brought me to full professional immersion in a French arbitration boutique.
Looking back, I sincerely believe that I would not have achieved these milestones without the support of Jean‑Luc Godard and the Dialogue team.
Jean‑Luc does not simply teach French. He teaches real French, the language as it is actually spoken, understood and lived. Gerdemie and Claudine complemented this linguistic experience by helping us immerse ourselves in French culture. What makes Dialogue exceptional is that its approach is genuinely tailored to each participant’s individual needs, objectives and personality.
Jean‑Luc Godard’s method also includes a distinctive element that I consider essential: the intelligent automation of language through durable mental connections. He does not rely on traditional exercises, but instead creates logical, cultural, and emotional associations that anchor expressions in long‑term memory. Jean‑Luc works with varied repetition, subtle shifts in context, and linguistic anchors that make certain structures resurface spontaneously even years later. This ability to reactivate phrases, rhythms, and linguistic reflexes without conscious effort is, in truth, the result of a sophisticated pedagogy that transforms French into an internalized, natural, and immediately accessible instrument.
Equally decisive was the immersive environment that Dialogue cultivates. Total linguistic immersion forces the mind to operate directly in French, without the safety net of translation, and accelerates the creation of authentic reflexes. Being surrounded by the language—in conversations, cultural activities, and daily interactions—creates a cognitive shift: French stops being a foreign language and becomes a natural medium of thought. This immersion amplifies the effects of Jean‑Luc’s method, allowing automatisms to form more rapidly and making the language accessible at a deeper, almost intuitive level.
For me, Dialogue was far more than a language course. It gave me the linguistic confidence and cultural understanding that became part of the foundation of my international career.
I recommend Dialogue wholeheartedly.
With immense gratitude, recognition and admiration,
Dr. Camelia Bogdan
